Albert Wengert
September 21, 1925 — August 25, 2017
Albert John Wengert, age 91, of Boulder City passed away on August 25, 2017. He was born on September 21, 1925 in Austin, Minnesota. He met and married Clara Louise Gaston on August 17, 1946. They lived in Fairhope, Alabama and moved to the Las Vegas area in 1954.
After moving to Boulder City he purchased Nick’s fix it shop that he owned and ran until retiring in 1975. After retiring Albert and Clara loved to travel in the RV. He enjoyed playing golf and bird hunting with his boys. He loved to be politically involved and was known to stir the pot. He was a volunteer with the Ralph Lamb sheriff’s mounted posse for a number of years also.
Albert is survived by a daughter Betty (John) Smith; two sons John Wengert, Jeff Wengert. He is preceded in death by his wife Clara Wengert and son Larry Wengert.
