Allen Stevens

Allen Mark Stevens age 68 of Henderson, NV passed away on May 17, 2015. He was born on January 25, 1947 in Phoenix, AZ to John and Maudie Mae Vellars Stevens. After high school he served his country in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War, once a Marine always a Marine. He worked as a journeyman for Portland General Electric and Henkels & McCoy keeping the lights on for many homes before retiring.
Allen loved to play golf and also worked at the Boulder Creek Golf Course in Boulder City, where he hit a Hole-in-one and continued to play as much as possible. He loved riding his Harley and taking road trips to Sturgis for bike week. He was an avid reader and loved taking naps and well as sharing his vast knowledge and witty comments.
Allen is survived by his wife Chunlei Xu of Henderson, NV; six children Joelle (Maurice) Frye of Portland, OR, Melissa Vaillancourt of Shepherdstown, WV, Nick (Cami) Archer of Portland, OR, Michael (Nicole) Archer of Portland, OR, Allen Chen of Henderson, NV, Lauren (Sean)Archer of Portland, OR; brother Jay Stevens; sister Faye Long and eleven grandchildren.
