Amanda Osborne

Amanda Michelle Osborne Hernandez, age 22, of Boulder City NV, passed away on Wednesday July 4, 2012 in Las Vegas NV. She was born in La Mirada CA on August 17, 1989. She grew up in Henderson NV and moved to Boulder City NV in 2008. She was married to Santiago Hernandez on June 26, 2010 in Las Vegas NV. Amanda was a loving, kind hearted person who spent her time taking care of her family and friends. She is survived by her devoted husband Santiago and her two beautiful children, daughter Sydnee, age 3 and son Sammy, age 1. She will be deeply missed by her parents, Curtis and Tina Osborne, and her siblings, Nicholas(wife Alex), Joshua, Jonathan and Carolyn, all of Boulder City NV. She is also survived by her grandparents, Roy and Joan Osborne, Bill and Diane Swab, Judy Swab and Helen Bellis. She loved and lived for her children. She spent many days taking them for walks to the park and the swimming pool, and when afforded, to their favorite places, McDonalds and Chuck E Cheese. Besides being the mother of her two babies, she also "mothered" her 3 brothers and her sister. Though not the oldest child, she was the "caregiver" for them through good times and bad. Amanda was also the temporary guardian for Desteni "Dezi" Painter, wanting to help a girl in need, to show her appreciation for those who helped her during her troubled teenage years. For those of you who wish to help, in leiu of flowers, please send a gift card of any amount affordable to her husband, Santiago, for items of need and enjoyment, from preferably CVS, Vons and Albertsons(all Boulder City stores-they don't have a car). Walmart, Costco and Chuck E Cheese(for the children) would also be appreciated. Diapers(size 5) and wipes are always needed. Donations can also be made to an account under the name "Amanda Osborne Donation Fund" at the Boulder Dam Credit Union, account # 72063008. This will be used for her services and all additional money will be left in the account to be used later by the children(clothing, shoes, school supplies, braces, maybe even college!) A "Celebration of Life", to remember her and her love of her family and friends will be held at her parents house: 700 Seventh St. Boulder City NV 89005 on Sat. July 28, 2012 from 3 -7 pm.
