Andres Henandez

Andres Antonio Hernandez "Andy" age 55 of Henderson, Nevada passed away on July 31, 2013. He was born on August 23, 1957 in Los Angeles, California to Jesus and Amalia Felipe Hernandez. He married his beautiful wife, Jacqueline Patterson on July 7, 2007. Andres served his country in the United States Army as a medic for almost three years. He bravely protected the people of Santa Ana for 25 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Santa Ana Fire Department. He loved his work and was part of the California State Firefighter Association as well as the Santa Anna Firemen's Benevolent Association. Aside from his love for the Fire Department, Andy enjoyed reading science fiction books and watching military shows. Andy wanted the best for his family and did everything he could to give them the best they deserved. He was a loving dad, brother, son, and most of all an amazing husband to his wife Jackie. They had a love that nothing could ever break apart. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Hernandez; two children Lauren and Caitlin; three step children Meaghan, Kaleigh, and Danielle; his mother Amalia; borther Rudy, sister Irene. Andy will be cremated and buried at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
