Anita Austin

Anita Jean Austin age 76, of Boulder City, NV passed away on August 26, 2012. She was born in Pecos, Texas on February 23, 1936 to Archie and Edith Humphries Hart. She married Jerry Lee Austin of North Kingsville, OH in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 7, 1962. They moved from Anaheim Hills California to Boulder City, Nevada in 1988.

Prior to living in Anaheim they lived in Crestline, CA and Anita was on the San Bernardino County Sewer Commission and served as President of the Jr. Chamber of Commerce. In Anaheim she was President of the American Airlines Kiwi Club and was the first lady on the Anaheim's City Golf Commissions. She was a great golfer and was club champion twice in Boulder City. She was a member of the Women's Golf Club of Boulder City and of Las Vegas Valley Model A Club. She also enjoyed reading.

Anita is survived by her husband Jerry Austin of Boulder City, NV; a son Terry Austin of Draper, UT; and a sister Gerri Solman of Albuquerque, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son Gary Austin.
