Anthony Dibrell "Dib" Campbell, age 88, of Boulder City passed away on January 19th, 2016 in Henderson, NV. He was born in Seguin, Texas on September 18th, 1927 to William and Alma Campbell. He served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and later was employed by the Bureau of Reclamation, retiring as Assistant Regional Director. He married his earth angel, Carol Fahrlander, on December 1st, 1950 in Brule, NE.
A true Texas gentleman, Dib never knew a stranger. He was very involved in the community and was a long-time member of the Boulder City Rotary Club. He was the co-founder of the Romeos, a small group of men who meet weekly for breakfast and to promote community service and involvement. Dib also served on several organizational boards including the Boulder City Library and the Boulder City Hospital. He had a great singing voice and enjoyed participating in a local barbershop group. Going for walks with his wife, Carol, and sharing memories and humorous stories with his family were among his favorite things to do.
Anthony is survived by his wife Carol Campbell; three children Christy (Bill) Stieve, Ross (Ava) Campbell, Jan (Russ) Johnston; and two grandchildren Elisa and Eric Campbell.
