Ashley Lehuanani Lavatai

With deep sadness, Ashley Lehuanani Lavatai, age 49, of Mesquite NV passed away unexpectedly and peacefully at home. She was born in San Francisco, CA on November 26, 1974, to LeRoy Lavatai (dec) and Marjorie Lavatai.

Ashley lived in Mesquite for several years moving from St George UT. She worked as an Information Technology Operations Supervisor for the Mesquite Gaming Commission. She was a voracious reader and thoroughly enjoyed cooking for friends and family. She also loved to sing, and was usually the first, second, and last to hold the mic while singing karaoke. Most of all, she was a life-long 49er and SF Giants fan (she hated the Rams, Cowboys and Dodgers!) Ashley loved her furry friends too, and considered them family. They are Reka and JoJo.

Ashley loved and adored her family and counted her nieces and nephew as children of her own. She especially loved being the great aunt or "granty" as the grandnephews and grandnieces would call her. Spending time with them and being with her siblings brought her the most joy. Although she is now reunited with those who have passed, we will dearly miss and remember her beautiful smile and warm spirit. 

Ashley is survived by her mother, sisters Stacey Lee (Dunn), Tiffany Lark (Allison), Lei (Albereicht), Devon (Tino), and Nyree, nieces and nephews as well as grandnieces and grandnephews. She also has uncles, aunts and numerous cousins. Lets not forget her beloved furry family, Reka, and JoJo.
