Barbara Slobojan

Barbara Louise Slobojan, age 75, of Henderson, NV passed away on January 18, 2016 at home. She was born on November 9, 1940 in Monterey Park, CA to Cullom and Velma Alsop. She married William Slobojan on February 28, 1959 in Las Vegas, NV. William and Barbara lived in Southern California where they raised their family until moving to Beaverton, Oregon in 1993. They remained in Beaverton for 20 years before moving to the Las Vegas area in 2013.
Barbara enjoyed life. She loved spending time with family and friends and a good true crime book. She loved to go shopping, for herself, but mostly for others. Always thinking of others, she had a knack for knowing the perfect thing to get for someone.
When in Las Vegas she enjoyed going to the casino and could often be found playing her favorite game, China Shores.
Barbara is survived by her husband William Slobojan; three children Laura (Robert) Moore, Karen (Allan) Kosup, James (Shalimar) Slobojan; a brother Leon (Teri) Alsop; four grandchildren Justin, Isabella, Mia and Morgan. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Theresa Kuhnke.
