Bernard Mattes

Bernard Carl Mattes, age 79, of Henderson, NV passed away on December 1, 2014. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 1, 1935, to Bernard and Hazel Kane Mattes. He served his country in the United States Army. He married Aurora "Nina" Gonzalez on July 12, 1957 in Niagara Falls, NY. Bernard had a love of cars and worked on them as a profession and also as a hobby. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, and camping. Bernard and Aurora "Nina" relocated to Henderson, NV in 1995 from Simi Valley, California.
Bernard is survived by his wife Aurora "Nina" Mattes; a son Randy (Lori) Mattes of North Port, NY; a daughter Debbie (Fred) Dalton of Henderson, NV and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son Dennis Mattes.
