BettyAnn Burgess

BettyAnn Burgess, born on December 21, 1946, in Rochester, Indiana, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025. She was 78 years old.

At the age of 20, BettyAnn moved to Southern California with her two young children, Andrew and Seay Leigh, seeking new opportunities and a brighter future. Her journey was marked by resilience and love, as she built a life filled with warmth and kindness.

In 1992, BettyAnn married Max Burgess, and together they created a loving home in Fountain Valley, CA. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership. After spending 20 wonderful years in Southern California, BettyAnn and Max retired to Mesquite, Nevada, where they enjoyed their golden years together.

BettyAnn will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family, her generous spirit, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Max, her only living brother, Jerry Holloway, her son Seay Leigh, grandchildren Quinn, Cora, Christina, and Taylor, and a legacy of love and cherished memories. 

A memorial service will be held at Hardy Cemetery in Mesquite, NV on Tuesday 2/4/25, at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Humane Society in BettyAnn's honor.
