Beverley Roberts

Beverley Ann Roberts, age 85, of Boulder City, NV passed away on December 20, 2014. She was born in Edgerton, WI on November 14, 1929 to Norman and Mildred Christenson Clark. She was the only daughter of the seven children. She had moved to Boulder City in 1952 from Janesville, Wisconsin.

Beverley was a lady of strong faith and was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Boulder City and was a part of the LWML. She was proud of her Norwegian heritage and was active member of Sons of Norway. Beverley was a quilter, enjoyed gardening, and baking. In 1984 Beverley and her husband John started the first gift shop at St Rose De Lima Hospital in Henderson, NV. They also ran a successful greenhouse business during that time.

She is survived by her two children Debra Ann (Earl) Timpe of Palmyra, Virginia; a son Stephen (Mary) Dewey of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren Stephanie, Jamie, Jennifer, Jason, and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John William Roberts; her six brothers Roger, Kenneth, Larry, Lowell, Richard, and James.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 at Christ Lutheran Church in Boulder City. Private burial will be at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
