"Billie" Strong

Jenny Anita Strong "Billie" age 92, of Boulder City passed away on November 6, 2012 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Lovell, Wyoming to James and Natella Lynn Sherwin on February 28, 1920. She married Guy Rowland Strong "Gus" on July 28, 1937 in Springville, Utah. They moved to the area a few years later.
Billie was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved to visit with her friends at the Boulder City Senior Center and play card games. She was a good bowler, ping pong player and enjoyed all types of dancing, especially square dancing with Gus. They were part of the Circle 8 Square Dancing Group.
Billie is survived by four daughters, Carol (Kenneth) Prudhomme of Cane Beds, AZ, Diann Stairs of Henderson, NV, Linda (Keith) Bjelland Battle Ground, WA, Patricia (Dennis)Draleau of Moses Lake, WA; 20 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Gus Strong and a daughter Sharon Miller.
