Brenton Grindle

January 10, 1939 — September 8, 2013

Brenton "John" Grindle, 74, passed away on September 8, 2013. He was born in Greensburg, PA to Samuel and Agnes Grindle. After joining the Air Force, he was stationed in Las Vegas where he met and married Carolyn McKnight. They were married for 52 years. John was a strong believer in his Christian faith. He was a member of Local 525 for 50 years where he worked as a pipefitter/welder and an avid Steeler fan.

John is survived by his wife, Carolyn Grindle; his children, Brenton (Tonya) Grindle, Jr. and Sabrina (Dean) Raetz; his brother Marshal (Lil) Grindle and his sister Elaine (Denny) McCullough; and three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Bailey and Delaney Raetz. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ron Grindle.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 21st at 11 am at Meadows Fellowship Church, 7801 West Alexander Road, LV NV 89129. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. A memorial guestbook is available at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com.
