Catherine Rennie

Catherine Anne Rennie passed away on March 12, 2023 in Boulder City at the age of 93. She was born October 2, 1929 in Salida, Colorado. She attended Culver City Grammar School in California, where she met her husband Don. Both graduated from Hamilton High School, California, and were married at The Little Church of Las Vegas in 1951. Before getting married, Cathe attended L.A. City College. While living in La Mirada, California, she was elected to serve as President of the Ebell Club and worked for an interior decorator. Moving to La Habra, California, she obtained a real estate license and served as PTA President at the high school. Her proudest achievement was the founding of the La Habra senior dance group known as "The Huff'n Puffs." They performed throughout Southern California and were awarded the prestigious Disneyland Community Service Award in 1986. In September 1987, Cathe moved to Boulder City, Nevada and has been a resident since. She enjoyed playing bridge, swimming, and playing tennis with her husband and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Don and her daughter, Cynthia Richards. She is survived by her son, Robert Rennie Jr., grandsons Daniel Froehlich and Gavin Rennie, granddaughters Mary Therese DiGiovanni, Ginette Rennie, Tara Richards, and Bonnie Richards, six great-grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
