Charles Corona

April 10, 1923 — July 3, 2013

Charles C. Corona, age 90 passed away on July 3, 2013, in Las Vegas, NV. He was born in Easton, PA, on April 10, 1923, and was the last survivor of eight brothers and two sisters. A proud Patriot, he served his Country bravely during World War II, receiving four Bronze Stars, as well as being a lifetime member of the VFW. After serving his country, he worked in the Clothing Industry, as a Sewing Machine Mechanic, in Easton, PA, and Tempe, AZ. In 1979, upon retiring, he moved to Las Vegas, to be with his daughter and grandchildren. He continued to keep busy repairing things. He is survived by his daughter, Christine (Joseph) Bartish; two grandchildren, David (Elysia) and Scott Marcus; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Gabrielle Marcus, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at 12:00 Noon, at the Boulder City Family Mortuary, with Burial on Monday July 8, at 9:20 AM, at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
