Cheryl (Spensley) Miller of Las Vegas, NV passed away March 8, 2019. She was admitted to the hospital on December 11, 2018 and overcame multiple severe challenges for nearly three months. Unfortunately, the day before Cheryl was scheduled to be released from care, she had critical complications and passed away suddenly. She was surrounded by family at St. Rose Dominican hospital.
Cheryl was born November 11, 1948 in Santa Monica (CA), went to high school in Thousand Oaks (CA) and worked at a local Safeway where she loved meeting famous people like Cher and Rob Lowe. In the 70s, Cheryl moved to Las Vegas and worked several years at Circus Circus (Credit Clerk), where she was excited to meet more famous people, like Victoria Principle's parents.
Cheryl loved her family and her favorite time of the year were holidays spent decorating, cooking, shopping and caring for everyone. Thanksgiving, Christmas, pinecones, moose, guardian angels, her dogs and her family were what made her the happiest. Cheryl's favorite flowers were gerbera daisies and sunflowers.
Loved ones preceded in death are Cheryl's mother (Cecelia), father (Ernest), son (Scotty) and beloved dogs (Cricket and Penny).
Cheryl is survived by her husband of 25 years (Mike), siblings (CeCe and husband Gary, Jackie, Betty, David), children (Wade and wife Heather, Carly and husband Jason), stepchildren (Edward, Michelle), grandchildren (Aiden, Bryce) and many nieces / nephews. The family spans across Nevada, Utah and California.
Cheryl's final wishes were to be released along California's Pacific Coastline with her pets. Family will have another get together later in the year for this farewell.
