Christy Bayless

Christy Le'Ayn Bayless, age 58, passed away at her home in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 8, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 14, 1953 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Walter and Charlotte Pritchard Buckmaster. She moved to Las Vegas in 1989 from Roosevelt, Utah. She married Sherman Bayless on July 24, 1993.
Christy was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, sewing, and cooking. She was an active member of Christ Community Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her husband Sherman of Nevada,; four children Ibrahim Haroon of Ohio, Aysha Miller of Nevada, Khateja Pompa of Nevada, Hamid Haroon of California, two sisters Tish Buckmaster, Leona Case; five grandchildren Derrick Haroon, Jescey Pompa, Gilbert Pompa, Alexander Haroon, and Zahir Miller.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 12:00 noon at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
