Colette Street age 79, passed away on November 26th , 2023 in Mesquite Nevada.
Colette was born on May 26th , 1944 in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Joseph Ivan Chesnut and Gladys Fisher Chesnut. She married Edwin Verdon Street on December 7th , 1963 in Park City, Utah. Colette spent most of her life living in the Kamas Valley, until she moved to Mesquite in 2016.
Colette was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved playing bingo, making crafts and crocheting. She enjoyed road trips with her family and exploring the desert on Razr rides. She was strong, resilient, and selfless, family always came first. She cherished her phone calls and visits from all four of her granddaughters.
Colette is survived by her daughter Stacy Lewis and son-in-law Michael; Grandchildren, Haley Buckner (Ashton), Kassidy Hurt, Kayla Bair and Danielle Street; Sister, Vicky Ricks and brother in law, David Ricks, Brother Don Chesnut and 6 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Gay and Peggy, her husband Verdon and Sons, Bruce (Teddy) Bair and Edwin J Street.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Crandall Funeral home at 105 E Center St, Kamas Utah, on Saturday, January 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Kamas/Marion cemetery.
