Conception Abrego Sanchez "Connie", age 92, passed away on February 3, 2016 in Boulder City, Nevada at the Nevada State Veterans Home. She was born in Orange, Texas on December 8, 1923 to Frank and Pueblita Abrego. She married Joe Sanchez on July 26, 1952 in Orange, Texas. They moved to the Las Vegas area from South Dakota in 1968.
Connie was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for the family and taking care of everyone. She enjoyed watching classic television.
Connie is survived by her two children Joe (Melisa) Sanchez of Nevada, Jane (Bill) Elliott of Mississippi; three brothers Victor (Margaret) Abrego, Frank (Myrtis) Abrego, Siguel Abrego; five sisters Ruby Denman, Amelia Lugo, Delia Villareal, Amparo Abrego, Jane Carmack; six grandchildren J. Aaron Sanchez, Victor L. Sanchez, AJ Leone, Ethan W. Elliott, Kimberly Curiel, Alexander F. Curiel; and one great granddaughter Faith Marie Leone. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Sanchez and a sister Mary Pachuca.
