Craig Walker Winton, age 71 of Henderson, NV passed away on November 23, 2021. He was born on February 2, 1950 in Logan, UT to Chester Walker Winton and Ruby Bunderson Winton. The family moved to Henderson when Craig was four. He married Deborah Sharon Sirak in Henderson on December 1, 1979 and has since enjoyed life to the fullest filled with love and laughter.
Craig served his country in the United States Army as a helicopter gunner in the Vietnam War and he was a proud patriot. He enjoyed running, watching the New York Yankees, and having a good time with family and friends. He loved to work on things with his hands from building the homes of his family and friends to tinkering with everything in his garage. He was a strong man who would always lend a hand to a friend in need. He was a proud member of Local Union 501 and worked as an Operating Engineer for the Jockey Club.
He is survived by his wife Debi Winton; two children Reece Winton, Torie Winton; a brother Steven Winton; two grandchildren Chael and Kade.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 12 noon at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV 89005. Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
