Danette Willey

Danette Jean Willey, age 84, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on September 23, 2014 at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Whittier, California to Daniel and Dorothy Storrs on December 12, 1929. She married Thomas Martin Willey on March 9, 1944 in San Bernardino, California.
Danette was a busy mother raising her six children. She was involved in many activities with them including Little League, Scouts, and Job's Daughters. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Her zest for life included a great love of animals
She is survived by her husband Thomas Willey; four sons Harry Willey, Stephen (Kathy) Willey, Daniel (Teri) Willey, Alan Willey; eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son John James Willey;daughter Ann Marie Stout; and a grandson David James Willey.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2014 at 9:20 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City NV 89005.
