Daniel Jay Grant (Dan) born June 11, 1938 in Mandan, North Dakota passed away Father's Day, June 19, 2011. He was born to Burtram and Alice Grant who preceded him in death.
Dan is survived by his wife Carol, five daughters, Kim Riddle of Henderson, Patricia Vanderwal of Boulder City, Sandra Leavitt of Henderson, and Carol Keyes and Barbara Stoneroad of Idaho, and one son Richard Faber of Laughlin.
He is also survived by granddaughters Jeni Burgess of Boulder City, Becky Bigham, Kristin Singh, Samatha Gavala and Nicole Keyes all of Henderson, Brittany Kirwin and Christopher Cannon of Las Vegas, and Tanya Shelton of Utah along with 10 other grandchildren in Idaho. In addition to wonderful grandchildren Dan is survived by 15 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved cat George.
A resident of Boulder City for 55 years, Dan was a big hearted family man with many friends. We have all lost a loving and special husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and good friend. His very special buddy "George" is lost without his dad.
Dan is predeceased by his son Bill Faber. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 10:00 am at St Andrew Catholic Church. A visitation will be held from 9am-10am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Boulder City Animal Shelter or Boulder City Emergency Aid in the name of Daniel Grant. Funeral Arrangements are under the care of Boulder City Family Mortuary.
