Daniel Patrick Kvachuk

Daniel Patrick Kvachuk, age 87, of Mesquite, NV peacefully passed away at his home on February 7, 2024.  He was born on March 17, 1936 in Chicago, IL. 

Dan retired from US West/Mountain Bell after 36 years of service.  He married Judith Randall on July 6, 1985 in Scholfield, UT. They moved to Mesquite in December of 2011 from Salt Lake City, UT.

Dan served in the United States Air Force, receiving an Honorable discharge after 2 years of service. Dan loved spending time at his cabin in Scofield fishing, boating, snowmobiling, sitting around the fire pit and keeping the property well groomed. He enjoyed tinkering in his garage and fixing things.  He loved to drive his classic 1964 Porsche, but most of all Dan & Judi loved to travel and spend time in their motorhome. They based their travels on the Colorado river in Parker, AZ for many years.  

Dan had a great sense of humor and that silly grin and infectious laugh that you couldn’t not love and embrace. He is survived by his wife Judi Kvachuk; a son Daniel (Teresa) Kvachuk; a daughter Shauna (John) White; two step sons Robert (Kelly) Hammer, Tod Hammer, five grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren and one due in March. He loved visiting and looking forward to visits with them.
