David Lee DiRomualdo, age 71, passed away on August 11, 2012 in Boulder City, NV after several years of battling what life threw at him. David died peacefully with his daughter by his side.
David is now happily residing in the Kingdom of God with his wife Susie, sister Ruth, Aunt Mary, Uncle Mike, parents, grandparents and several friends. David is survived by his daughter Lisa and grandson Alex.
In life, David served in the Vietnam War as a medic, graduated from Villanova University, and worked for The United States Olympic Committee in Colorado Springs, Colorado. David moved to Las Vegas in 2007 after being hit by a drunk driver that took the life of his wife and severely injured him. David never fully recovered from those injuries, but kept an amazing attitude. David enjoyed The Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies, spending time with his grandson, playfully talking trash to anyone who would talk back and striking up conversations with complete strangers.
A memorial service will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery on August 24, 2012 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, our family would be honored if you would make a donation to Mothers Against Drunk Drivers (MADD), 444 Lincoln St, Denver, CO 80203.
