David Hoover

David Eldon Hoover, 77, went to be with our heavenly father on May 2, 2015. He was born on October 20, 1937 in Sheldon, Iowa. Dave loved fly-fishing and spending time in the great outdoors with his beloved family. A long-time Boulder City resident and member of the BCHS graduating class of 1956, he worked for the National Park Service for 38 years and served his country in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. In his life he had many accomplishments, but his greatest joy was his 4 children: Sharlene Meadows of Benton, AR, David Hoover (April), Debi Hoover, and Chris Hoover (Crystal) all of Boulder City and his 8 grandchildren: Kevan, Kylie, Haley, Carson, Ashlee, Taner, Gabriel, and Claire. He is also survived by Philip Wright, and many others who called him "Dad". He is preceded in death by his parents Forrest and Joan Hoover and Ron and Florene Noack. In lieu of a funeral service, his family will be having a celebration of his life on Saturday, May 9th, starting at 12:00 pm at 311 Yuma Court in Boulder City.
