David Olney Reynolds, 75, of Mesquite, NV died peacefully surrounded by his adoring family on April 13, 2025. David was born to Clark and Shirley Reynolds on March 13, 1950, in New Jersey, David lived a life full of adventure, passion, and love. In 1968, he made the bold move to Hawaii, where he spent 40 wonderful years on Maui. He was a cherished part of the community, and embodied the Aloha Spirit. He was especially known for owning and operating the Vineyard Tavern for 25 years—a place that became a gathering spot for friends, locals, and visitors alike.
In 2002 he met Martha Green, and together they shared 23 beautiful years filled with laughter, companionship, and countless memories. In 2010, the couple relocated to Mesquite, Nevada, where they continued to enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
An avid reader with a deep love for books, David also found joy in bowling, golfing and playing tennis. He will be remembered for his warmth, wit, and generous spirit.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well lived.
David is survived by his sweetheart Martha Green, 6 Children, Rachel Pond, Lauren Wong, David Reynolds, Scott Williamson, Debra DePonte and Cynthia Williamson and 56 Grand/Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Clark Leonard Reynolds and Shirley Joyce Hill Reynolds, and his Son Jason Williamson.
Davids wishes were to be cremated and his remains will be scattered in his beloved Iao Valley at a later date.
