De Lane "Del" F. La Follette, age 79 of Henderson, NV passed away on January 27, 2013 in Las Vegas, NV. He was born on November 3, 1933 in Pella, Iowa to Harry Dwight La Follette and Wilma J Deileman. He served his country during the Korea Conflict in the United States Air Force Del workd as a project manager for the Department of Commerce with the National Weather Service. . He married Ann Sumners on May 26, 1962 in Sedalia, Missouri. They moved to the Las Vegas Area 20 years ago from Phoenix, AZ.

Del was a strong Christian that attended Green Valley Baptist Church. He taught children's Sunday school and was an usher. He volunteered many hours of service helping with voting and hanging flags on Memorial Day. He was always willing to help those in need and was a great carpenter.

Del is survived by his wife Ann La Follette of Henderson, NV; a daughter in law Debbie La Follette of Las Vegas; two grandchildren Richelle (Justin Cimock) La Follette, Jessica La Follette; a great granddaughter Keirra; and a brother Norman La Follette. He is preceded in death by his son Richard La Follette and a brother Wayne La Follette.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 10:00 am at the Green Valley Baptist Church. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 am. Burial will be held on Monday, February 4 at 9:20 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Green Valley Baptist Church.
