Dean Clenis Kjosen

Mesquite, NV – Dean C. Kjosen age 84, passed away after a long illness November 26, 2022 at Mesa View Regional Hospital. He was born October 7, 1938 in Ruso, ND to Melvin and Mable (Sanderson) Kjosen. He married Patricia Ball in White Earth, ND August 24, 1958. He later married Marsha Gray in Pittsburgh, PA March 16, 1985.

Dean grew up on a farm outside White Earth, ND where he graduated from White Earth High School. He attended the University of North Dakota. Dean worked in sales and management positions in many industries and many locations including Minot, ND, Pittsburgh, PA, and Palm Bay FL.  Before retiring in 2010. Dean and his wife Marsha moved to Sun City Mesquite, NV in 2017.Dean was an avid bowler in his younger years. Later in life you could always find him on the golf course until the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.

He is survived by his wife Marsha Kjosen of Mesquite, NV; children Jeffrey Kjosen (Jane) of Marco Island, FL and Todd Kjosen (Jane Weidler) of S. Sioux City, NE. Granddaughter Kirsten Kjosen of Lenexa, KS. Brothers Donald Kjosen (Verlee) of Stanley, ND and Rolan Kjosen (Lu Ann), of Indianapolis, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Merrel Kjosen (Evelyn) and sister Bernice Walter (Jim).

Dean requested no memorial service be held. Cremation was performed under the direction of Star Mortuary of Mesquite, NV 702-346-6060. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association are preferred.
