Delbert Poole

Delbert M. Poole age 94 of Mesquite, NV passed away on September 13, 2022.  He was born on December 13, 1927 in Seattle, WA to Simon Poole and Antoinette Verderico Poole.  He married Diane Summers on January 28 in 1950.  Delbert served his country in the United States Navy at the end of WWII.

Delbert worked as a Electrical Engineer for Bonneville Power Administration.  He enjoyed working with his hands building furniture and his own home.  He was an avid sports fan, watching multiple sports but was a die-hard Washington Husky fan.  Delbert and Diane traveled all over the United States the past twenty-five years.  During his travels and when at home he researched genealogy, learning about both his and Diane’s family.  He enjoyed the outdoors including camping, fishing, hiking and sightseeing.  He was a true Italian and loved to gather with family to cook, BBQ or just spend time together.

Delbert is survived by his wife Diane; five children Randy (Marleen) Poole, Allen (Kay) Poole, Denice Poole, Greg Poole, Sandra (Charles) Poole Caro; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
