Dennis Walter Hardy, Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away October 7, 2023, peacefully at home in Scenic, Arizona. Denny was born in Overton, Nevada on November 14, 1943 to Walter Hardy and Clarice McDonald Hardy.
Denny grew up in Bunkerville, Nevada where his father owned a dairy farm, and he worked diligently for many years on that farm. He graduated from Virgin Valley High School in 1961.
He met the love of his life in Las Vegas, Nevada. He and Eva Jeanne Taylor married on September 11, 1971. They were later sealed in the St. George Temple in 1976. They were blessed with two boys; Cliffton Ray and Clayton Tim. The top four priorities in his life were: God and Christ, Family, Friends and Horses. Some of his occupations were: Farmer, Mine worker, School custodian, but mostly he loved working with horses. He bred them, raced them, rodeoed and just loved riding them and giving others rides on them.
He was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and he loved going to the temple. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He never spoke bad about anyone, and never wanted anyone to speak bad about people around him. He was a very forgiving person.
Denny is survived by his son; Clayton Tim Hardy of Okemah, Oklahoma, three grandchildren; Braiden, Dawsen and Jaiden, three sisters; Connie Rich of Henderson, Nevada; Sharon (Blake) Mickelson, and Wendy (Rulon) Spencer of Scenic, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his wife; Eva Hardy, his son; Cliffton Hardy, his parents; Walter and Clarice Hardy, two sisters; Glenda Hardy and Verla Dalton.
Per Denny’s wishes, there will be No Services.
