Dolores "Lollie" Gay Bowler Pearce, age 82, passed away on July 1, 2014 surrounded by her family at the Boulder City Hospital Long Term Care Facility in Boulder City, NV. Lollie was the third child born to James Austin Bowler and Lula Kurt on December 20, 1931 in Enterprise, Utah. She married Keith W. Simkins on July 23, 1951 and they had 4 daughters. They later divorced. Lollie lived the majority of her life in Lincoln County, NV. She met the love of her life Raymond Alonzo Pearce in Yerington, NV and was married to him on April 29, 1978. Their marriage was sealed in the St. George LDS Temple on November 8, 2008 after Ray's passing.
Lollie is survived by 3 daughters - Sherlyn (Howard) Fackrell, Ginger Martin and Jody Simkins; 6 grandchildren - Amy (Donnie) Walden; Duaine, Daryl (Kristi) and Dusty Cowley; Alyssa and Veronica Garcia; 11 great-grandchildren - Gavon, Gage and Bentley Walden; Brendon, Erin and Ashlyn Cowley; Chase, Kenon, Cade, Ayden and Adalyn Cowley; 8 brothers and sisters - Wallace, Bruce, Brent, Peggy, Nellie, Betty, Tina and Rosie. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Ray, still-born daughter Tawna Lee, her parents James and Lula, two sisters Edith and Velda and her brother Kay.
Lollie was a woman with a strong faith in God who loved to crochet baby blankets for anyone who was expecting a new baby, but she especially enjoyed making her blankets for her great grandchildren. Lollie was always strong willed, independent, hardworking, caring and loving. Her family was her number one priority and she treasured every day that she got to spend with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
