Donald L Linck passed away, December 16, 2015. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, April 13, 1926. Don attended a one room elementary school in Bristol Silver, Nevada, where he lived with his father, Jack Linck, an assayer, Lavona Linck, the postal clerk, and his sister, Luana. He attended high school in Panaca and finally, Boulder City, where he was student body president and photographer at Hoover Dam. He joined the United States Navy after graduation and married Bonnie Van Zant on August 8, 1945. They moved to Reno where he attended the University of Nevada. After returning to Boulder City, he worked and lived at Lake Mead Marina which was owned by his brother-in-law, Jimmy Jordan. He finally settled in a career in the grocery business of which he retired. Don and Bonnie bought a retirement home in Parowan, Utah, but returned to Boulder City in 2015. He always enjoyed an outdoor lifestyle: riding a Harley, hunting, boating, fishing, and camping with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Linck; daughter, Rebecca Lee Noble, son-in-law, Jack Noble, granddaughters Tricia Barber and Jennifer Noble; great-grandchildren, Eisley and Gage Barber; and grandson Brendan Noble, great-granddaughter, Kaidence Noble. Don is also survived by his beloved sister, Luana Shamo, and family.
