Donald Pitt

Donald Seth Pitt, born November 14, 1926 in Kamas, Utah, passed away April 23, 2014 in Las Vegas, NV. He married Corinne Wilde, divorced. Married Gloria Blair on December 31, 1974. They enjoyed celebrating their anniversary New Year’s Eve.

He will be remembered and greatly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of the Kamas Valley Lions Club and served as president. He was a member of the Utah Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was always very active and enjoyed playing golf with friends until just a few years ago. He was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz, the San Francisco Giants and the San Francisco 49ers. He served in many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. One of his greatest joys was being with, watching and playing with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved children. He is survived by his wife, Gloria, son, Greg Pitt (Connie), Las Vegas, NV and step-children, Orville Blair, Kamas, UT and Victoria Blair, Santa Rosa, CA, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Harold & Myrtle Pitt, brothers Darrell and Alan and sister Patsy. Funeral service will be held April 30th, 9:00am in the LDS Chapel at 5160 W. Lone Mountain Road, with viewing 1 hour prior to service. Interment: Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery following the funeral.
