Gary Carlson

Gary Allen Carlson Sr., age 67, of Boulder City, NV passed away on August 14, 2016.  He was born to Mildred and Lyle Carlson in Sibley, IA and raised in Worthington, MN. He was a Master Electrician that enjoyed using his skills to help others and believed that God will use his skills to keep the stars lit in heaven.

Gary was an extremely kind hearted man who showed extreme love for his wife Kathy, his kids, grand kids and his many family and friends. He loved fishing, the cabin, watching the Vikings, Nascar and having a beer.  His greatest passion was spending time with his children and grandchildren, friends and family.   He will be remembered by all as a "Good Man" with great character, was fiercely loyal, honest and most of all, kind.

He is survived by his wife Kathy, brother Rich, son Gary (wife Angie), daughter Nikki (husband Joe), and grandchildren Morgan, Dani, Colton and Alyssa.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Parish 5071 Eden Avenue Edina, MN 55436.  Followed by a Celebration of Life Reception 1:00pm~5:00pm Knights of Columbus 1114 American Blvd W Minneapolis, MN  55420.  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
