George Wellington Blake JR, age 86 of Boulder City, NV passed away on January 1, 2014. He was born in Chicago, IL on April 5, 1927 to George and Dorothy Blake. George Enlisted in the United States Navy during World War II. After his service in the Military he worked as a paper feeder for the newspaper in Chicago. He met Ruby Howat at the bowling alley and they were married in Chicago on February 24, 1979. Needless to say George loved to bowl and loved Ruby more.
George was a strong man that volunteered many hours and time to help those in need. He was a member of the Masons for over 60 years. He also was a member of the Shriners Organization. He was a member of the Graphic Communications Conference.
Survivors include his wife Ruby Blake; two daughters Dorothy (Tom) Eicher and Janet (Charles) Lisinski, six grandchildren Amanda Lisinski, Jacqueline Lisinski, Earl Polvi, Mara Denny, Sandra Polvi, and Brianna Eicher; five great grandchildren Tessa Denny, Tyler Denny, Tristan Denny, Alexis Polvi and Cameron Polvi; and a sister Doris (John) Ornstedt.
