George Mooney

George W. Mooney passed away July 25, 2015 in Boulder City, Nevada. He was born March 7, 1925. George was married to the love of his life, Alice Mooney who predeceased him in April, 2008. George was a retired Management Analyst with the U.S. Air Force Department in California and Washington D.C. George and Alice moved to Boulder City in 1983 and were very active with the bowling leagues at the old "Boulder Bowl" and traveled in their motor home with the local RV group "Rolling Boulders". George had many hours of enjoyment after joining the "Boulder City Stamp Club" and loved staying active with the ladies at his exercise club "Let's Go Shake". George was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his two children Barbara (BJ) Conklin (Mr. Bill) of Boulder City, NV. and William Edmiston (Doris) of Sacramento, CA; five grandchildren, Georgette Lyon, Michael Sharo, Christopher Sharo, Sharon Brown, Paula Edmiston and 10 great grandchildren, Joseph Montero, Stephen Montero, Bella Montero, Chriselle Sharo, Joshua Sharo, Caleb Sharo, Matthew Sharo, Sophie Sharo, Will Knight and Alysha Knight.
