Georgia Stowe

Georgia "Juanita" Stowe of Boulder City, Nevada passed away on July 15, 2011. Georgia was born on April 7, 1933 in Bagnell, MO. She was a 44 year resident on Boulder City. Georgia grew up in Eldon, MO and attended Washington University School of Nursing in St Louis, MO where she received her nursing degree. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully in many callings.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Anna Heldstab. Georgia is survived by her husband and eternal companion, John Stowe; four children Bill Rackey, Don Rackey, Julie Rackney, and stepdaughter Wanda Jeffords; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held on July 20, 2011 at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Eldorado Valley Ward, 1519 Sunrise Circle, Boulder City, NV. Burial will follow the service at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Medical Services of America Hospice at 2520 St Rose Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89074. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Boulder City Family Mortuary.
