Gloria Jean Lively

Gloria Jean Lively passed away peacefully in her home in Mesquite, Nevada at the age of 79 on September 20, 2024. Gloria was born on March 12, 1945 to William and Emily Copland in San Francisco, California. Gloria had a wonderful childhood growing up by the beach in Montara, California. 

She was a successful business owner for many years owning a delicatessen, arcade, balloon bouquet delivery and business form supply store. She even worked as a security guard at the Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant where she met the love of her life David Lively. They spent 35 blessed years together before his passing in 2023. Gloria was loved by all. She was always helping anyone she could and remembered everyone’s birthdays and favorite things. She was thoughtful beyond measure, a kind and loving mother and devoted friend. 

She is survived by her daughters Tracy (Raymond) Estey of Plymouth, California, Wendy (Bryce) Benjamin of Virginia Beach, Virginia, stepsons Greg (Angie) Lively of Jacksonville, Florida, Alan Lively of Idaho Falls, Idaho, as well as eighteen grandchildren and two great grandsons.
