Grace Wiggins

Grace Wiggins, age 73, of Las Vegas, NV passed away peacefully on January 12, 2016. She was born on January 6, 1943 in Glasgow, Scotland to Hugh and Anne McGarrity. She married Harry Wiggins in Scotland in 1981 and moved to the United States. They have lived happily together in Las Vegas the past 32 years.

Grace was one of the most easy-going people. She had a fun-loving nature, a cheerful disposition and a contagious laugh. She was an encouraging, accepting, and loving mom and grandmother. Grace was a true role model in how to be a best friend to your spouse. Prior to retiring, Grace truly enjoyed working with children as a pre-school teacher. She was an avid reader who loved to knit and do puzzles. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. No doubt she is in heaven for the way she lived and loved. She will be deeply missed.

Grace is survived by her beloved husband Harry Wiggins; three children Robert (Lisa) Young, Judy (Andrew) Sky, Diane (Matt) Hansel; a sister Margaret; six grandchildren; four nieces and three nephews. She is preceded in death by a son Robert Wiggins; a sister Nancy.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 10:40 am at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 9:30 to 10:00 at Boulder City Family Mortuary.
