Hal Duayne Landseadel age 64, passed away November 14, 2012 in Henderson, Nevada, surrounded by his wife Susan, his children and grandchildren.Hal was born on June 9, 1948 in Kokomo, IN, to George and Mary (Jarret) Landseadel. He has lived in Tipton, IN for 41 years, Kokomo, IN for 10 years, and Searchlight, NV for 13 years.

Hal graduated from Tipton High School in 1966. He was a member of the 1966 School Band of America European Concert Tour. He was a Murat Shriner, Past Grand Lodge F & AM of Indiana and Noblesville York Rite. Hal was the author of three published books-"The Receiver", "Eddie", and "Hal's Shorts".Hal retired from General Motors in 1997 after 30 years of service.

He and his first wife Peggy (Frazee) Landseadel, had two children; Jeff (Sherry K.) Landseadel, and Jenny Landseadel, all of Tipton, IN.On February 11, 1987, he married Susan C. Landseadel, also adding a step daughter to the family, Angela Barrat of Phoenix, AZ. Surviving Hal also are his grandchildren; Payton Landseadel, Tara Stevenson, Derek Landseadel, and Bryson Lay. His siblings; Julia Tragesser, Sue Thatcher, and Laura (Jeff) Strebin. Also are many nieces and nephews. Hal is proceeded in death by; his parents George and Mary Landseadel, in-laws Herbert P and Claudia V. Stewart, stepson, Clayton Archer, grandson Daniel Moberly, daughter-in-law, Dawn M.(Stout) Landseadel, brother-in-law, Mike Thatcher.

A viewing for Hal will be held Monday November 19, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton, IN., followed by a Funeral on Tuesday, November 2, 2012 at 11:00am. Family and friends are welcome to sign the online guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
