Harold Sorkin

Harold Sidney Sorkin born on January 13, 1918 passed away on March 30, 2013. Hal as he was known to his family and friends was born in Philadelphia, PA, the only child of Myer and Sadie Sorkin. He was a gifted artist and mechanical engineer who had two children during his first marriage. He is survived by his son Mark Sorkin, daughter Gerri Sorkin, grandson Joshua Sorkin and granddaughter Jennifer Bishop. His three great grandchildren are Sydney Bishop, Jackson Sorkin and Grant Sorkin. Hal's long time wife Helen Sorkin passed away on July 18, 2012. They shared a 48 year marriage, traveled the United States extensively and were especially fond of long car trips throughout the southwest. Hal and Helen eventually settled in Tucson, AZ and later built their home in Boulder City, NV where they will rest in peace side by side.
