Harry Ashmore

Harry George Ashmore, age 86, of Boulder City, NV passed away on May 17, 2013 in Henderson, NV. He was born on April 7, 1927 in Cleveland, OH to Harry and Agnes Ashmore. He was a very athletic teenager and was great at track. He left high school after the tenth grade and joined the Merchant Marines and served during WWII. After his service he married Burdene Allen on March 20, 1948 in Baldwin Park, CA. Harry owned and operated his own drywall business called Commercial Drywall Inc. in California. After retiring he moved to Boulder City in 2000. He was very mechanical and enjoyed working and cars and boats. He loved fishing and spending time out on the lake with his family and friends.
Harry is survived by his wife Burdene Ashmore of Boulder City, NV; four children Carol (Tim) Hersch of California, Craig (Karen) Ashmore of California, Bruce Ashmore of California, Cathy (John) Nance of New Mexico; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
