Hazel O'Brien
April 26, 1922 — February 9, 2013
Hazel O'Brien, age 90, passed away February 9, 2013 surrounded by family. She was born in Long Beach, CA on April 26, 1922 to Henry and Louise Domengeaux. She married William O'Brien on July 9, 1944 in Palm Springs, CA. Hazel was a wonderful military wife, traveling where ever the military took them. After William retired, they settled in Bend, Oregon and later moved to Boulder City in 1975.
Hazel loved to read and sew. She was great with ceramics and made many Christmas heirlooms for her family. She served as President of the Adair AF Base Officer Wife's Club. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Hazel is survived by her husband William O'Brien of Boulder City, NV; a daughter Michelle (Ron) Marcum of Portland, OR; two grandchildren Todd (Dodi) Marcum and Scott (Kelly)Marcum; five great grandchildren Jeffery Marcum, Emily Marcum, Daniel Marcum, Jada Marcum, and Natalie Marcum.
