Henry Falvey

Long time Henderson Businessman, Henry Lawrence Falvey passed away at home, after a long illness on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, surrounded by his family. Henry was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, on May 10, 1927 to parents Henry and Evelyn Falvey. After attending Highlands University, Henry pursued a career in the Auto Parts Business. He was a genius in detecting any car problem and his clients followed him as he moved up into larger stores. Eventually, his career brought him to Henderson where he opened and operated Ace Auto Supply on the Boulder Highway for 25 years. His professional low key style was enjoyed by clients and he made many friends that traveled from Boulder City and Las Vegas, Nevada to shop in his store.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bobby, Eugene and Clarence Falvey. He is survived by his sister Gloria (Jess) Price, his loving wife of 60 years, Isabel Falvey, son Henry A, ( Prieda ) Falvey, daughters, Debbie (Paul) Wiggs, Elizabeth (Dennis) Hershey, eight grandchildren, Danielle Falvey, Joey Falvey, Rickki (Brian) Sevchuk , Bob (Melissa) Tasios, George (Stephanie) Tasios, Amanda (Dan) Boschert, Devin and Brooke Hershey,six great grandchildren, sisters-in law, Dorothy Coroneos, Josephine Duran, brother-in-law, John Fresquez (Fabie), his beloved dog Rusty, and many nephews and nieces.

Henry enjoyed life to the fullest he was happy making others happy and his home was an open restaurant to all that wanted to share a meal. He will be dearly missed but we know you are in heaven looking down on us you sweet sweet Man!

Rosary will be led by Deacon Tim O'Callaghan on Thursday, May 28, at 7:00 p.m at St Andrews Catholic Community Church, 1399 San Felipe Dr. Boulder City, NV., followed by Funeral Mass on Friday, May 29, at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial ceremony at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City at 1:20 pm. Special "thanks" to Visiting Angels and VET Assistance, for the wonderful care of Henry. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to ASPCA, web site: www.aspca.org.
