Herbert H. Kaiser, age 80, of Boulder City passed away on July 12, 2014. He was born in Austria on January 15, 1934 to Karl and Theresa Smith Kaiser. Herbert moved to the United States and Las Vegas in 1964. He was an embodiment of the American Dream. He came to America with 35 cents and a talent as a cabinet maker and could speak very little English. He gained his citizenship and went on to becoming a prominent business owner and a builder of Las Vegas. He helped build many banks, hotels, and casinos including the Caesars Properties. He was a man of strong Catholic faith and a friend to all. For all of those fortunate enough to have known him, he was a true friend.
Herbert is survived by his daughter Tracy (Alan) Sabol of Boulder City; a sister Berta Salcher of Austria; two grandchildren and a great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Kaiser of 50 years.
