He enjoyed life on the M3 ranch learning about hard work, which he diligently applied throughout the rest of his life. After finishing high school, and serving a mission for the Church in South Africa, he attended Utah State University where he met and married Adrynne, in 1968. After graduating with a civil engineering degree from USU, he joined the Army and became an officer. Following his honorable discharge from the military, Walton was hired using his degree, at the Bureau of Reclamation where he served in Billings, Montana; Springville, Utah; Phoenix, Arizona; and Boulder City, Nevada. He left behind a legacy of working hard, serving others, having faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, loving family, and focusing on what is most important in this life, while keeping an eternal perspective.
