Jack Lee Free, age 81, of Boulder City, NV passed away on February 4, 2012. He was born on April 22, 1930 in Gunnison, CO to John Henry Free and Florence Leaman Free. Jack served in the United States Navy Sea Bees from 1948 to 1952 during the Korea Conflict. He married Dorothy Lois Bowman on March 23, 1952 in Fallbrook, CA.
Jack worked in the aerospace industry for Rocket Dyne before retiring in 1991 and moving to Boulder City, NV from Chatsworth, CA. He was an outdoors man that loved to go fishing and hiking with his dogs.
Jack is survived by his wife Dorothy Free of Boulder City, NV, four children Michael John Free of Los Angeles, CA, Jerry Lee Free of Prescott, AZ, Donna Jean Allgood of Parker, CO, Debra Ann Free of Boulder City, NV; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Private services will be held and Jack will be cremated and interred at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Boulder City Family Mortuary.
