Jack Heilman

Jack Arthur Heilman age 65 passed away on December 20, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jack was born in Clay Center, Kansas to David William Heilman and Clara Louis White Heilman on January 11, 1946. Jack served his country in the United States Navy for twenty plus years. Jack received his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of St Leo. He retired as a Chief Warrant Officer. He married Kathleen Anne Carrigan on July 29, 1970 in Gibraltar, United Kingdom. They moved to the Las Vegas area in 1986 after retiring in 1986.

Jack was a man that enjoyed life; he was a helpful hand to others when they were in need. He served in many areas during his life. He taught math and science at a votech high school. He was a member of the Masonic Temple and shared his talent of cooking and skill as a master BBQer with the Ladies of the Eastern Star. Watching Nascar races was another joy he had in his life. He and his wife spent ten wonderful years riding motorcycles with friends.

Jack is survived by his wife Kathleen Heilman of Henderson, NV; his father David Heilman of Henderson, NV, a daughter Anita Marie Curtis of Indiana, a son Ricky Melkose of Goodyear, Ariaona; a son in law Darrell D Myers of Henderson, NV; three very close to his heart grandchildren Holly, Darrell David and Steven Lane and a precious grandson Aydan.

According to Jack's final wishes he will be cremated and laid to rest at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Boulder City Family Mortuary and family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
