Jack Mccomb

Jack McComb, age 73, of Boulder City, NV passed away on March 17, 2017 in Henderson, NV.  He was born on December 6, 1943 in Galveston, TX to Barbara and Jack McComb.  Jack married Judith Boggs on March 10, 1979 in Sacramento, CA.  They moved from Sacramento to Boulder City in 1980.

Jack was a member of the International Fire Chiefs Association and Southern Nevada Fire Chiefs Association.  He loved golf and the New York Yankees.  Jack worked for the Department of Defense, Nellis Air Force Base as Fire Chief from 1980 until he retired in 1993.  Jack had a wonderful  and memorable career in the fire service of 36 years.

Jack is survived by his wife Judith McComb; three sons Mark McComb, Brian (Kristin) Shelton, and Travis McComb; one sister Mary Louise Miller, and seven grandchildren Jack, Dylan, Aria, Kaila, Ian, Ashlynn, Siena.

Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 12:30 P.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive Boulder City, NV.  Burial will follow the service at 2:00 P.M.  at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Buchanan Blvd Boulder City, NV.  Family and friends can sign an online memorial guestbook at www.bouldercityfamilymortuary.com
