Jacklyn “Jackie” Irene Wright, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on November 29, 2020. She lived to be 80 years old.
Born in Los Angeles, California to Jack Matthess and Betty Nunez on December 18, 1939 and spent the majority of her childhood in Los Angeles until she went to college at San Jose State University.

While in New Mexico, Jackie received her real estate license in Albuquerque and successfully started selling homes. Years later, she was introduced to Joseph “Joe” Wright whom she married in June 1997 and were married for seventeen years until Joe passed away in 2014.

She was a member of several sewing and quilting clubs in Henderson including the Piecemakers Quilting Group at Central church where quilts are made for those that are sick with cancer and other illnesses.
No matter what obstacle came her way, Jackie persevered with strength, courage and grace. She was strong to the very end, trusting God to always carry her. She is now in heavenly peace with the Lord.
